Custom Protection Products (CPP).
Custom Protection Products (CPP) was established in 2009 and has been the trusted distributor of XPEL® products in Southern Africa since 2019, with experience using XPEL products since 2012. Custom Protection Products (CPP) is the only company in Africa accredited by XPEL Europe as a certified training centre, having trained vehicle factories in Europe for OEM programs. XPEL is renowned for its market-leading training and innovative products, a reputation we proudly uphold.

With 59 years of combined experience in corporate finance and retail middle management, our leadership team brings a strategic yet refreshingly unconventional approach to the industry. What began as a small side-line venture for its two founders quickly gained momentum, evolving into a full-time operation driven by demand and opportunity. By 2015 and 2016, both founders had left their corporate careers to focus solely on Custom Protection Products (CPP).
Since then, CPP has achieved consistent annual growth ranging from 12% to over 200% year-on-year—performance that reflects strong market trust, a committed dealer network, and an unwavering focus on quality. Today, CPP continues to set the benchmark for Paint Protection Film (PPF) and vehicle surface protection in South Africa, supported by a leadership style that blends professionalism, innovation, and long-term vision through sustainable growth.

Over the past 13 years, Custom Protection Products (CPP) has helped shape the local PPF industry while following in the footsteps of XPEL globally, attending international dealer conferences and adopting world-class quality standards. With over 35,000 applications completed in South Africa and a growing network of 31 accredited dealers and network partners across Southern Africa, CPP offers unmatched expertise and coverage within the region.
Our operations are based in Irene, Gauteng, with a branch in Cape Town and a steadily expanding footprint through accredited dealers in key locations across South Africa, Botswana and soon Zimbabwe and Mozambique. This strategic network ensures that customers throughout Southern Africa receive consistent, professional installations aligned with XPEL’s global standards of excellence.
